What is the NBA?

The National Basketball Association, or NBA, is a professional basketball league that is made up of 30 teams that play 82 games against each other during a regular season.

NBA Divisions.

The NBA is divided into six divisions. The 30 NBA teams are currently divided into 2 conferences, each with 3 divisions. Atlantic, Central, and Southeast are the three divisions in the Eastern Conference. Northwest, Pacific, and Southwest are the three divisions within the Western Conference. Each NBA Division has five teams.
